The Role
As Activity Assistant, you will work as part of a team to facilitate various activities within the home. Your primary focus is to cater to the individual preferences, needs, and capabilities of each resident. By doing so, you provide avenues for residents to engage in new experiences while encouraging their involvement in hobbies and activities they already enjoy. Building strong relationships with both residents and their families is integral to fostering emotional well-being. Additionally, you will assist in creating personalised schedules comprising meaningful activities tailored to each resident's interests and abilities.

About you
Experience as an Activity Assistant is not a prerequisite; what truly matters is your sincere interest in supporting the individuals in our home. We value candidates who exhibit warmth and friendliness, and who derive fulfilment from enriching the lives of our residents. Essential qualities include creativity, adaptability, and strong organisational abilities, alongside a commitment to delivering social and cultural activities of the highest standard.
Additionally, proficiency in writing and IT, including a good grasp of Outlook and Microsoft Word, is required. While experience in video production and editing is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
